Sheldon - 2nd Semester Homework Assignments

1. 2/3 Answer questions 1,2,3 - short response questions on page 200.

2. 2/5 Chapter 19 read pages 201-211 and answer student work points 19.1, 19.2 and 19.3. Also, please complete the classwork on who is helped and hurt by inflation.

3. 2/9 Test next class - please bring books. Also, your completed graduation plan is due along with the second semester projects parent/guardian signature form.

4. 2/11 Create a mind map based on the concepts in chapter 20. Use unemployment as your focal point and answer/respond on your mind map to the "By the end of this chapter, you should be able to:" bulleted points on page 215.

A reminder, current event paper #3 - macroecnomics is due on 2/22.

5. 2/16 Complete current event paper - due on 2/22 Monday.

6. 2/18 Current event paper is due on Monday.

8. 2/24 Read pages 252-256 - arguments for protectionism

9. 2/26 Read pages 257 - 261 and bring an article about international trade to class.

10. 3/2 On page 265 answer the short response questions 1 and essay questions 1a and 1b.

11. 3/4 Read pages 262-265. Find an article about the WTO and write a brief statement about the article's origin, purpose, value, and limitation.

12 3/8 Read chapter 25 pages 267 - 271 and answer short response question 1 and essay question 1a and 1b on page 273.

13. 3/10 Read pages 274-278. Be prepared for a quiz on economic integration and the quota diagram.

14. 3/12 Complete Consumer Price Index assignment.

15. 3/16 Student work points 26.4, 26.5, 26.6

16. 3/18 Complete student work point 26.7. Read pages 289-292 - balance of payments- and know/memorize terms in bold print.

Also, begin work on you country study project.

25. 4/26 Read chapter 31 and answer short answer questions on page 343.

26. 4/30 Complete chapter 32 questions that were handed out in class. This assignment can be completed with a partner.

28. 5/6 Chapter 33: Turn the first four bulleted points at the top of page 360 into questions. Then, read the chapter to find the answers to your questions.

29. 5/10 Chapter 33 - next three bulleted points on page 360 - write questions and then answer.

31. 5/27 Read the class handout Real Firms and Their Financing pages 325-333. Expect a reading quiz over these pages during our next class.
